Marian Action
Welcome! It’s with great joy that I welcome you to this brand new Marian Action website.
Marian Action has been blessed with 50 years experience of bringing God’s love to the homeless and marginalised, having started in 1972 in Moncur St. hostel.
As time goes on, hopefully we’ll be able to share some of the inspiring stories of our ministry during these years, as well as news of how the Lord is continuing to bless us in our current ministry. We have deliberately chosen to launch this website on the feast of our princpal patron, St. Joseph so we ask for his intercession, as well as that of our Blessed Virgin Mother, and all of Marian Action’s patron saints.
John McConville
President, Marian Action
The ethos of Marian Action is as a movement which seeks to bring the love of Jesus and Mary to the marginalised in both practical and spiritual ways, and through our devotion to Our Lady of Fatima, we respond to her request for prayers and sacrifices for the conversion of sinners by offering up our ministry, and our spirituality, that our beneficiaries can be freed from the shackles of sin, and can return to the kingdom of God’s love.

It was Mary, of course, who stood by the cross of Jesus, bringing Him the consolation of her love,…
