The primary strength of Marian Action comes from bringing the souls of the marginalised, and everyone connected with the movement, to Our Lord in the Eucharist, which we should aim to do on as regular a basis as possible, ready to receive wonderful graces from the throne of Heavenly love.
Our daily recitation of the Angelus also brings great graces, as we recall the moment when Our Blessed Lady’s courageous agreement to be the mother of Jesus, in complete union with the will of God, set in motion God’s plan of salvation for us, starting with Jesus’ birth in Bethlehem, leading to His public ministry, His Passion, death, and triumphant Resurrection, His Ascension, the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, and the formation of the Catholic Church. Since we know that Mary has a special love for the poor, we can feel confident that she will be gladdened to receive their souls in prayer, as we meditate on her wonderful response to the angel’s request, which had such a great impact on God’s salvific plan.
