Prayers

The prayers of Marian Action are a great source of blessing both to the group’s members, and beneficiaries, and to the movement as a whole.

Our special prayer, the Angelus, helps us to bring our beneficiaries before Our Lady at the very start of our redemption, as Mary courageously agrees to accept her mission as the mother of the Saviour, thus putting God’s salvific ministry through Jesus into motion. Also, we can reflect that Mary’s great love for all, but it particular the poor, was part of her motivation for doing so.

Also, the Marian Action Morning Offering gives us a great opportunity to start the day by bringing all connected to the movement to the Lord in prayer, and the Consecration Prayer, which is said at the first meeting of the month, and at the Annual Mass, is a great way for us to renew our love for the Holy Virgin, whilst also reminding ourselves of the great love that she has for all marginalised, particularly those affected by attachment to sin, and her desire to see these people brought back to the kingdom of her son.
